The Dremel goes up to crazy speeds but due to lack of torque it slows down. The Proxxon seems to have a lot of torque and does not slow down-less vibration as well but only goes to 20,000 rpm or so and it is more pleasant to use. This is the locking pin that commonly fails. It is tiny.

This is a Proxxon MF 70. I familiarized myself with it over the last couple days as I waited on my bits. I am familiar with milling. I set up a dial so I could measure better. Used a wood base to hold the brass stock. I cut a bolster today and it was a 15 min operation. I will add to the thread as I use it more.

From what I've read, you will need a runout that is < 1/10 the endmill or drill diameter. So at least 5 tenths or better. There are lots of Chinese high speed spindles on eBay, with some running up to 60,000 rpm.
